YORK Car Rental acts solely as a broker and agent, providing a car rental affiliate reservation system for the convenience of you, the customer, and the locally owned and operated rental companies. We arrange and confirm your vehicle reservation with a local rental provider, but we do not supply the vehicle ourselves.

When you make a booking through us, you will enter into a direct rental agreement with the rental company at the time of vehicle collection. The terms, conditions, and applicable laws governing the rental will be those set out in the rental contract presented at the rental location.

In the event of any conflict between these Booking Terms and the rental company’s terms, the supplier’s terms will take precedence in relation to the vehicle rental itself.

We use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure the accuracy of all information published on our website or distributed through third-party platforms; however, we cannot guarantee that all details are free from errors or omissions. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us.

Additional drivers must meet the same age and license requirements as the main renter.
A fee of $15.99/day applies per additional driver.

After Hours Returns

After-hours returns are not permitted. Vehicles must be returned during operating hours (7:00AM – 10:00 PM).

Coverages

Customers must choose one of the following options to cover damage to the rental vehicle:
Personal Insurance Policy
Must include full coverage for rentals (collision + comprehensive)
Name and address must match driver’s license
The policy must provide minimum liability coverage: - $100,000 bodily injury per person -
$300,000 bodily injury per accident - $100,000 property damage per accident
Vehicle on the policy must be 2018 or newer
Must present a declaration page and ID card showing the policy was paid within the last 90
days. International insurance policies are not accepted. (Canada/Puerto Rico)
Deposit required: $2,500
Accepted insurance providers: State Farm, Progressive, Liberty Mutual, Geico and Allstate.
2. INBOCARS Insurance Options
Full Coverage – $79.99/day. Includes: CDW, TPL, SLI, TP, Roadside Assistance, Loss of Use.
Deductible: $500 | Deposit: $200
Medium Coverage – $55.99/day. Includes: Basic CDW, TPL, Roadside Assistance. Deductible:
$1,500 | Deposit: $300
Minimum Coverage – $40.99/day. Includes: TPL only. Deductible: $3,500 | Deposit: $1,000
Loss of Use: $10.99/day
Roadside Assistance: $7.99/day
Own Insurance Activation: $14.99/day
Credit card insurance may be accepted only if the customer provides a declaration from the
bank showing TPL coverage and agrees to purchase CDW at the counter.

Cross Border Restrictions

Vehicles may not leave the state of Florida. Unauthorized travel will incur a $2,000 fine + taxes + $0.80/mile.

Financial Policy

Payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Discover (no AMEX). Debit cards incur an extra charge. Deposit ranges from $500 to $2,500 depending on coverage. Deposits are held 10–15 business days. Florida residents must provide full coverage insurance and a $1,000 deposit.

Local Traveller Restrictions

Florida and Georgia residents must present their own full coverage insurance and a major credit card. Mileage limited to 50 miles/day or 2,000 miles per rental. Excess mileage charged at $0.79 + tax per mile.

Mileage Limitations

Unlimited mileage is included except for Florida residents. Residents are limited to 50 miles/day.

Other

Prohibited uses include racing, towing, commercial services, or illegal activity. Tampering with
toll device: $350 fee. Smoking in vehicle: up to $700 fee. Lost key: $700. Late return: $30/hour.

Penalties:
- Late Return: $30/hour
- Lost Key: $700

- Lost Child/Booster Seat: $150 each
- Smoking in Vehicle: Up to $700
- Missing Fuel: $60–$80 per quarter tank
- Removing Toll Device: $350
- Out-of-State Travel: $2,000 fine + $0.80/mile
- Violations Handled by Company: $100/violation

Pick Up Instructions

From baggage claim, go to Level 1 Ground Transportation. Head to A11–A13 (Terminal A), B11–B13 (Terminal B), or C278 (Terminal C). Call 407-203-8153 or 407-963-3306 for shuttle.

Plate Pass

Vehicles come with One Pass transponder. Customer devices not allowed. Toll Activation: $20.99/day + tolls. Unlimited tolls: $35.99/day. Toll by plate: $25 per toll.

Refueling Policy

Vehicle must be returned with same fuel level as provided. Refueling fee: $60–$80 per 1/4 tank missing.

Renter Qualifications

Drivers must be between 21 and 78 years old. Additional fees: under 25 ($24.99/day), over 60 ($20.99/day). Must hold a valid license for at least 3 years and present a credit card in renter’s name.
